Two former Hammers have been named in the PFA League 2 Team of the Year.

Goalkeeper Marek Stech and full back Dan Potts, both of whom currently represent Luton Town have made this year's select XI following an excellent season at Kenilworth Road.

And they are joined in the PFA's selection by three fellow team mates - forward Danny Hylton, midfielder Luke Berry and defender Alan Sheehan.

Barking-born Potts, whose father Steve played 399 times for the Irons, joined Luton in 2015 after he was released on a free transfer by West Ham.

Meanwhile 28-year-old Stech, who spent six years as reserve 'keeper at West Ham between 2006 and 2012 joined The Hatters last summer following the expiry of a two-year contract at Sparta Prague.

The Hatters could be promoted to League One as early as next week, should Exeter fail to beat Chesterfield in their game in hand. The 45th annual PFA awards take place this weekend, Sunday 22 April, in London.
