Manuel Pellegrini spent most of his press conference answering questions relating to his three years as Manchester City boss - although there was the odd snippet of positive West Ham-related news.

The Hammers boss confirmed that two key first team squad members (Andy Carroll and Jack Wilshere) are both available for selection when United host City at the Olympic Stadium this weekend.

And he also took questions on the recently-confirmed capacity increase at the Olympic Stadium, which was announced earlier this week following an out-of-court-settlement between West Ham and stadium operators E20.

"When there was some discussion over changing stadium from the Boleyn Ground to the Olympic, I said this is a big club," he recalled. "If you as a club are able to add 6,000 people - and the stadium will be full - it will represent what this club is."
