Dack, who was born in London has been Blackburn's leading goalscorer this season with 11 from 20 matches in all competitions. Crystal Palace have also expressed interest but West Ham are thought to be the only club to have made a firm offer so far.

Dack, who began his career with Gillingham (following a brief spell as a schoolboy at Charlton) moved to Rovers in June 2017 in a deal worth ?750,000, having accumulated 185 appearances for the Kent side since making his professional debut in 2012.

Prior to his move to the Championship, Dack won the League One Player of the Season award whilst being named in the Football League Team of the Season, both in 2015/16. He was also named as Gillingham's Young Player of the Season for three consecutive seasons.

His first season in the Championship, 2017/18, saw Dack - who admits to being a huge fan of former Hammers midfielder and current Derby coach Frank Lampard Jnr - score 18 goals from 42 appearances.
