I don't think Arnie will leave, says Pellegrini

Manuel Pellegrini has dismissed reports of Marko Arnautovic leaving West Ham to move to China.

On Wednesday it was revealed that an unnamed Chinese Super League club had made a ?35million offer for the Austrian international - an offer that was instantly rejected by West Ham.

However Pellegrini feels that there is little chance of Arnautovic leaving the Premier League in order to move to the Far East. "They are just rumours," he said.

"We know Marko is a very good player so maybe a lot of clubs will want him to play for their team. But, at the moment he is a West Ham player and we want to keep him.

"I think Marko and all the other players involved in rumours have their heads here and want to continue playing the way they are doing so far.

"I am sure his head will be in the game against Arsenal and it will not affect his performance. I don't think he will leave. And ?35million would be nowhere near enough for such a key player."

West Ham face Arsenal in Stratford on Saturday lunchtime; the game is (once again) a 12.30pm kick off.
