Let's end the season on a high

Robert Snodgrass says that he wants to end the 2018/19 campaign on a positive note - by becoming the first team to beat Tottenham at their new ground.

Spurs are yet to concede a point or even a goal at their new arena since it opened last month, several months later than expected.

However Snodgrass, currently West Ham's leading assist maker this season, is determined to change all that when West Ham provide the next opposition this coming weekend.

"It’s one where the fans will want to go and win, the players will want to go and win and, as a club, you want to go and win and end the season on a high," Snodgrass told whufc.com.

"If we can emulate the level of performance we have produced in the last few weeks, we’ll be right in the mix to get three points.

"If you’re not motivated for this, there’s no point in turning up. There is so much at stake with the rivalry. That’s the game you want to get three points and bragging rights from, whilst finishing the season on a high."

West Ham face Tottenham this Saturday lunchtime (12.30pm), with the match being broadcast live by Sky Sports for the benefit of those unable to attend.

North London domination?

West Ham will be seeking to secure a memorable double when visiting Tottenham's new home this weekend.

The Hammers became the first visiting team to win at The Emirates 12 years ago this month courtesy of a Bobby Zamora strike, whilst Rob Green performed miracles at the opposite end of the pitch to keep Arsenal at bay in a 1-0 win (see below).

Can Manuel Pellegrini's team also become the first visiting team to win at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?
