Manuel Pellegrini's squad options have been boosted this week by the return of three key players from injury.

Manuel Lanzini, Samir Nasri and Aaron Cresswell, all of whom were unavailable for last weekend's 1-0 win at Tottenham are all expected to be ready for selection ahead of this weekend's final game of the season in Stratford, according to the boss.

"Lanzini, Cresswell and Nasri are all ready," he told the media at Thursday press conference.

"We will see tomorrow [Friday] about the starting XI and who will go on the bench, but for the first week of the season maybe, we have different options for starting and on the bench."

The return of the trio, combined with the recent reappearance of players such as Fabian Balbuena and Carlos Sanchez means that Pellegrini has virtually his entire squad to call upon for the final two matches of the 2018/19 campaign.

Currently, only Andriy Yarmolenko, Andy Carroll and centre half Winston Reid (who has not featured at any point this season) remain sidelined through injury - giving Pellegrini a positive selection headache as he prepares to face Ralph Hasenhütt's side.
