Lucas Perez has completed his return to Spain in a deal said to be worth in the region of EUR2.3million.

Although officially undisclosed, Spanish daily Marca claim that the deal is worth approximately half of the ?4million West Ham paid Arsenal to sign the forward last summer, since when Perez has chipped in with six goals from 19 appearances.

And that record was good enough for Alaves to sign the 30-year-old on a permanent basis, following brief negotiations with West Ham.

Perez joins the La Liga side - who confirmed his imminent arrival on Monday afternoon - on a three-year contract for a second time, having briefly spent time at the club as a 16-year-old youth player.
