Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insisted that today's game could have been won by either team.

The under-pressure Norwegian appeared to suggest that his team failed to see the rub of the green, despite forcing Lukasz Fabianski into only one notable save during the entire match.

Addressing the media after the final whistle, Solskjaer admitted however that he was understandably dissatisfied by the 2-0 defeat. "Of course when you lose a game you're disappointed," he said.

"It's a game that could've gone both ways.

"We lost here last year, it's always a difficult ground to come to and we hoped that we'd do better than we did. We hope for better. The key moments they grasped and we didn't.

"I have to say they were two fantastic finishes by two left feet and we just didn't take the chances when we had them."
