Key men could miss Everton clash

David Moyes has admitted it is very unlikely that Michail Antonio will be fit enough to feature in Saturday's meeting with Everton.

The previously in-form forward has been missing of late having sustained a recent thigh injury - and according to Moyes, is unlikely to be ready to play this weekend.

"At the moment, he's not training fully with us," he said. "Antonio joined in a little bit on Thursday morning; I hope we get him back but I don't think he will make this weekend."

And Antonio is not the only player on whose fitness Moyes is currently sweating - with both Felipe Anderson and Arthur Masuaku less than fully fit and raring to go.

"Felipe Anderson might make it, he might not," added the boss. "He had a bad fall with ten minutes to go against Sheffield United. Felipe's [problem] is his ribs, he fell heavily in the tackle so we are just seeing how he is.

"Also, Arthur Masuaku has a little fluid in his knee which we have drained - so we'll see how that is too."

But one man almost certain to play and make his debut on Saturday is goalkeeper Darren Randolph - who has only recently recovered from injury.

"I think he is as fit as we can get him," said Moyes. "Ideally we'd have waited a week longer but Lukasz's injury has brought it forward, so we are happy to do that and happy to take the risk.

"He's trained fine today and we're happy to have him on board. I don't think it is too big a risk, he's been training for a while now. You try and bring him along gradually but he's been doing all the work he has had to do.

"I have got the choice of three goalkeepers at the moment and he is certainly in that."
