Jurgen Klopp believes his side will have to be at their very best to beast West Ham when the two sides meet at the LOS on Wednesday evening.

West Ham have "no time to waste" according to the German manager, which is why he believes his side will be facing a "big challenge" when the league leaders seek to extend their unbeaten run in Stratford.

Klopp is preparing to face a wounded West Ham

"West Ham are fighting to stay in the league and that's what it looks like," Klopp said during his pre-match press conference on Tuesday. "It will be a big fight, they will fight with all they have.

"It will just be a tough one, 100 per cent. But we have to do what we have to do. We have to fight as well. We have to keep up, if not set the intensity level and do some smart things with possession as well. That's a big challenge.

"We have to be ready for a big fight. They want to strike back, they have a tough programme coming up, everybody knows that. They have no points to waste, no time to waste."

And although he expects David Moyes to line up with defence very much at the forefront of his tactical approach, Klopp maintains that the Hammers have the necessary quality to cause the runaway Premier League leaders problems.

"It will be a rather defensive line-up," he predicted. "I don't know if they'll play four or five at the back, but both are possible.

Masuaku gives Leicester's Ricardo Pereira close attention

"They did something mixed already when it was four plus Masuaku man-marking Pereira, I think, against Leicester. So there are different possibilities.

"But [they have] counter-attacking threats; [Michail] Antonio, [Manuel] Lanzini, whoever can play, I'm not 100 per cent sure. It will be tough but that's what the Premier League is about."

Meanwhile David Moyes has confirmed that West Ham will definitely be without Felipe Anderson, Andriy Yarmolenko and Jack Wilshere, while Arthur Masuaku is touch and go.
