Jarrod Bowen has revealed who the jokers are in West Ham's pack - and whose innate talent has impressed him most.

The 23-year-old moved to West Ham during the January transfer window from Hull City but no sooner than it had begun, saw his career halted by the current Covid-19 outbreak and resulting lockdown.

However he is already in no doubt who raises a smile when the squad get together. "Snods, 100 per cent," he replied during an interview for the club's website.

"When I was with him at Hull City he was the same and then I came here and thought, with him being a couple of years older, he might have simmered down - but he’s even worse.

"There’s a group of them; Nobes, Snods and Cressy. They are just at each other 24/7, all the time. Though Snods is the biggest moaner too.

"We go on away trips and I’m just there, watching them, trying to not get involved but laughing at all the jokes. Hopefully they don’t turn on me! I’m just looking at them and laughing at them."

And when asked which player's sublime skills have impressed him the most, Bowen was in no doubt. "Felipe Anderson," he replied.

"He’s Brazilian and the skills he’s got are incredible. He was injured when I first arrived but when he came back and got into training, the stuff he does is incredible.

"He’s so calm about it as well, he makes it look so easy. He nutmegs everyone! Luckily, I’m on his team for small-sided games usually. I don’t know how he does it, but he does! He’s got to be up there with the best."

Meanwhile Bowen also cited Declan Rice as the team's 'hard man' - "he gets stuck in and doesn’t take any" - and Michail Antonio as West Ham's most powerful player.

"The first few days when we were training against each other, I went so far when we went shoulder-to-shoulder," he recalled. "He didn’t even try, he just put his arm across me. He’s quick and strong and powerful."
