West Ham United's programme for Monday's Premier League fixture with Leeds United will feature former manager Glenn Roeder on the front cover.

Roeder, who managed the club between 2001 and 2003 died at the age of 65 earlier this week. He will also be honoured with a major tribute within the programme, copies of which can be ordered online via whufc.com.

"Manager David Moyes, captain Mark Noble, Evening Standard reporter Ken Dyer and former Hammers pay tribute to Roeder, who managed the Irons between 2001-03," reads the club's website.

Meanwhile you may read Terry Land's tribute to Roeder - entitled 'Glenn Roeder and me: A personal account from an admirer' - here on KUMB.

And you may read tributes to Woodford-born Roeder from West Ham supporters here on the KUMB Forum.

Roeder was appointed as West Ham manager in 2001 following the surprise departure of Harry Redknapp at the end of the 2000/01 season, in which West Ham narrowly avoided relegation.

He led the Hammers to a seventh-place finish in his fiorst seaon at the club before they were relegated the following year despite reaching 42 points - just 11 points fewer than the previous campaign.

Chairman Terry Brown pulled the trigger just three games into the 2003/04 season, firing Roeder after United's shock defeat at Rotherham.
