West Ham United's opening FAWSL match away to Brighton will be played at the Amex, rather than their regular home stadium at Crawley Town.

Hope Powell’s side achieved their highest Super League finish last season, ending the campaign in sixth place. And the South coast side will be looking to use the occasion as a springboard to better that position this season.

Tickets go on general sale from the 7th of August. Details as follows:

- £5 for adults
- £2.50 for U18 and over 65s
- £10 family ticket – Two adults and two U18

It is currently unclear as to whether there will be a separate allocation of tickets for away fans.

Stadium access will be via a covid-pass and digital, mobile ticket. Details can be found here.

Brighton hosted the Hammers twice last season, Alisha Lehmann scoring the winning penalty in a 4-2 Conti cup victory for West Ham. Whilst the league meeting back in February was settled by a solitary strike from Brighton’s Aileen Whelan.

Meanwhile West Ham’s home season tickets are currently on sale and are available from just £30 for adults and £15 for juniors, if you are an existing men’s season ticket holder. Non-season ticket holders can purchase them for £40 adults and £25 juniors.

Home games will continue to be played at Dagenham and Redbridge’s Victoria Road ground, which is set to host the first ever Women’s team Open Day. Entry is completely free and will run from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday the 14th of August, with a number of activities planned.

New arrivals Claudia Walker and Zaneta Wyne will be on hand to meet fans, alongside lifelong Irons fan Dagny Brynjarsdottir. Plus, the chance to win a new away shirt signed by Gilly Flaherty.
