After just two weeks of the season, the first international break is upon us and the Hammers will see three of their contingent in action over the next few days.

Midfielder Dagny Brynjarsdottir will join up with the Iceland squad, as they take on fellow group C contenders the Netherlands, in a World Cup qualifier.

Having been drawn alongside Belarus, Cyprus and the Czech Republic, the Dutch are arguably the toughest side in the group and the “Stelpurnar Okkar” will be hoping to cause an upset against the “Oranje Leeuwinnen”.

Meanwhile both Tameka Yallop and Mackenzie Arnold will make the short trip to Dublin to take on the Republic of Ireland.

This will be the first opportunity for Australia to gather together since their Olympic dreams were shattered by a clinical Sweden. For the Irish, recently departed Hammers keeper Courtney Brosnan will be included in the squad.

Tameka Yallop will be hoping her passport issues can be rectified by the time the international break ends, having signed for the Irons in the summer, she has yet to appear in the claret and blue due to a complication with her visa.
