Vladimir Coufal is reported to have signed an extended contract - a year to the day after he first joined West Ham United.
The Czech international and his representatives have been in discussion with the club for some considerable time as both parties haggled over the terms of a new deal. However it was revealed on Saturday by The Athletic's Roshane Thomas that Coufal has finally signed a new three-year deal with an option for an extra year.
Responding to the news, the 29-year-old full said: "“One year ago my dream came true. What an outstanding year we had as a club. Once a Hammer, always a Hammer.”
Signed from Slavia Prague for a shade over £5million, Coufal has made a total of 43 appearances in a claret and blue shirt - all starts bar the 1-0 win at Manchester United recently in which he replaced the injured Ryan Fredericks.
