Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been speaking positively about David Moyes and several of his players ahead of this weekend's top four clash.

West Ham host the former Champions in Stratford this weekend in a top-of-the-table clash. And Klopp admitted he has enjoyed watching United's progression in recent months, which leaves them just two points behind the Reds as things stand.

"It is good fun watching them," he said during his Friday press conference. "They became a high intensity team and you can only become that when you are on the front foot. That's what they are.

"When you want to finish situations off you need top strikers - and that's what they have.

"I like Bowen a lot. He made his way up from Hull and took not too long to show exactly what kind of player he can be in the Premier League. He made big steps. Michail Antonio, since I've been in England, I think he has played five or six positions including right-back. He is obviously a proper, proper striker.

"[Pablo] Fornals is back in the Spanish national team, he is an incredible player and is a footballer who can play between the lines. [Said] Benrahma is another really exciting one, he was at Brentford and is now a proper, proper figure in West Ham's offensive play.

"Then at six you have [Declan] Rice and [Tomas] Soucek, two guys who are a threat up front passing-wise, Soucek with his head and Rice with everything else he has.

"They're incredibly quick with smart full-backs and now they have the centre-half pairing they wanted. And [Lukasz] Fabianski is a really experienced goalkeeper."

And Klopp is also impressed by West Ham's strength in depth, which has been demonstrated by the club's fine run in the Europa League and with Carabao Cup wins against Manchester City and Manchester United.

"They made changes on Thursday and are still a really good team," opined Klopp. "That makes a successful football team. The only problem they have, that we all have, is this league is so incredibly good that you have to be on top form every day.

"We know we face an exceptionally well-organised, well-trained and well-equipped opponent on Sunday."
