Although basking in the glory of a stunning win against the current league leaders, he also lost two key players in Ben Johnson and Kurt Zouma to injury during the game.

And the Hammers now face an anxious wait to determine the extent of the injuries to both players. "I'm just hoping they are okay," said Moyes during his post-match press conference.

"I don't know how bad Kurt is but Ben looked as if he has pulled his hamstring a little bit. We need to get some players back: Ryan Fredericks and Aaron Cresswell need to get come back and, as you well know, we don't have Angelo Ogbonna for a while because of his ACL."

And further to the injuries to Zouma and Johnson, KUMB can reveal Manuel Lanzini, who scored West Ham's first goal of the day from the penalty spot also left the stadium limping.

"I was patching up the team at different times where we picked up a few injuries," continued Moyes.

"We played Brighton in midweek and they had a similar situation when they lost three players with injury in that game, so it's a strange and difficult time for all Premier League teams with the quantity of games at the moment."
