Conor Coventry's return to West Ham United following a recall from his season-long loan spell at Peterborough has proved to be short-lived.

For just a week after he returned from the Championship club, the midfielder has secured a move to Milton Keynes Dons for the remainder of the 2021/22 campaign.

The League One side, a step lower than Coventry's previous club are currently challenging for promotion to the second tier, being as they are fifth in the table at present and just six points shy of current leaders Wycombe Wanderers, on whom the Dons have a game in hand.

Coventry is set to make his debut for his latest club this Saturday, when MK host bottom club Doncaster at the Stadium MK.
