Academy prospect Sonny Perkins has left West Ham after failing to agree terms on a new contract.
The 18-year-old made his first team debut in West Ham's Europa League defeat against Dynamo Zagreb and made his second and final appearance for the club as a substitute in the 3-2 home defeat against Leeds back in January.Embed from Getty Images

However Perkins, who is a Tottenham supporter is now a free agent having rejected West Ham's latest contract offer.
The news has undoubtedly come as an unexpected blow to the club, who had high hopes for the England Under 18 international. In a statement published on West Ham's website, they criticised the player's agent for their part in his departure.
"The club is entitled to receive compensation from any club Perkins decides to join," it read. "West Ham United invests millions of pounds annually into its world-renowned Academy of Football – and naturally is extremely disappointed that Sonny has chosen not to continue his development with the Hammers.
"The club is disappointed with Perkins' representatives and strongly believe he was approached to sign for another club which led to him asking to be released from his scholarship at West Ham United.
"West Ham United take this matter very seriously – we believe the rules and structures in place at the Football Association and Premier League should be upheld at all times."
