West Ham United's first team squad have arrived in the French Alps ahead of a busy week for David Moyes and his players.
Having spent last week in Scotland at their St Andrew's training camp base the Hammers flew to Geneva before crossing the Swiss/French border and arriving in Évian-les-Bains, where they will be spending the next few days in preparation for the coming season. The town, which sits on the southern border of Lake Geneva will be the squad's home until Friday, when they face Swiss Super League side Servette in the first friendly fixture of pre-season.
Tickets for the match, which is being staged at the Stade de Genève in Lancy - a short drive away from Évian - are available via West Ham United's website, priced at just £8.50 each.
Meanwhile Mark Robson's Under 21s squad have arrived in Portugal, where they will be spending the following week enjoying a little warm weather training.
And they too will be involved in friendly action this weekend when Sporting Lisbon's B team provide the opposition in Lisbon on Saturday morning (10am kick off).
“Last week’s training camp in Scotland was a great start to our 2022/23 season preparations," Robson told whufc.com. "The chance to train alongside the first team gave the lads a reminder of the levels they are striving to reach in football.
“We now have the opportunity to work even closer with these boys over the next few days, and Troia is a beautiful part of the world for us to continue that work in.
“A few of the Under 21s have been given the opportunity to remain with the first team as they continue pre-season in Evian, meaning a number of our Under 18s have the chance to work with our group in the coming days.
“The boys know the standards expected of them and the hard work required. Pre-season is a real chance for them to make a step forward in terms of fitness and ability, and we’re all excited for the next few days.”
