Thilo Kehrer's agent will arrive in London today for talks regarding his client's future.
The Paris St Germain defender, who is also being sought by La Liga side Seville was the subject of an improved bid from West Ham United yesterday although the two clubs are yet to reach a compromise. The German international's club are holding out for a fee in the region of €20million, which West Ham are yet to meet.
Despite the current impasse, Kehrer's agent Dirk Hebel is expected to arrive in London today to discuss personal terms for the player, who is entering the final year of his contract with the Ligue 1 champions and is considered surplus to requirements at Le Parc des Princes.
A recognised central defender, Kehrer - who moved to Paris from Schalke in a £33million deal back in 2018 - can also operate at right back and as a defensive midfielder. He represented his club on 34 occasions last season while scoring twice (both in Ligue 1).
* West Ham have made an enquiry into the availability of left back Ismail Jakobs, who is represented by the same agency as Kehrer.
The 22-year-old, who was born in Senegal but represents Germany at international level has just completed his first year of a five-year contract with Monaco who he joined last summer from Koln in a £6million switch.
The pacy full back featured on 28 occasions for the Ligue 1 side during the 2021/22 campaign and has appeared in both of the club's Champions League qualifiers so far this season.
