West Ham United's Nayef Aguerd has scored the 100th goal of the 2022 World Cup Finals.
However that statistic will not be celebrated by the Moroccan defender as it was an OWN GOAL in his nation's final group game against Canada. The 26-year-old Hammer diverted a cross into his own net to halve his team's lead against the Canadians, who were two goals adrift prior to Aguerd's intervention through goals from Hakim Ziyech and former Hammers transfer target Youssef En-Nesyri.
Should Morocco go on to win the match they will qualify for the last 16 and face either the winners or runners-up from group E, which contains Spain and Germany.
