West Ham United have agreed a fee worth in the region of £15million for Aston Villa striker Danny Ings.

KUMB revealed last night how West Ham had made an opening offer of £10million for the former England international, who signed for his current club in the summer of 2021.

And with a fee agreed overnight - thought to be worth £12million plus add-ons - following brief negotiations, the player is now set to travel south in order to undergo a medical later today ahead of a move to Stratford.

* Should he complete a move to West Ham, Ings will become the first player to represent all three claret and blue teams to have featured in the Premier League along with Burnley - where he spent four seasons between 2011 and 2015 - and his current club.

While left back David 'Rhino' Unsworth also signed for all three clubs, he failed to make a competitive appearance for the Villains.
