West Ham have been told to stump up €30million if they want to sign Lorient striker Terem Moffi.

The Ligue 1 club are keen on signing Marseille's Bamba Dieng, who has already agreed to move to Les Merlus, but have to shift Moffi before being able to strike a deal.

However Lorient are not prepared to allow the Nigerian international to leave on the cheap, having already rejected an opening offer from the Hammers.

Further complicating the issue is that the 23-year-old has expressed a preference to join Nice, who are also interested in signing fellow Hammers target Youssef Al-Nesyri of Seville.

And Nice are currently unwilling to meet Lorient's asking price for Moffi, who has spent the last two years in France having began his career at the Buckswood Football Academy in Hastings.

Born in Calabar, Nigeria, the 6'2" goalscorer moved to England in order to further his football education before signing a contract with Lithuanian club Kauno ┼Żalgiris where he spent two seasons.

In 2019 he moved to FK Riteriai where he scored 20 goals in 29 games, form which earned him a move to Belgian club Kortrijk. After just nine months with De Kerels he joined his current club, for whom Moffi has scored 33 goals in 86 appearances.
