David Moyes has responded to Michail Antonio's latest comments in which he suggested he could leave West Ham before next week's transfer window deadline.

The West Ham striker's latest comments on his Footballer's Football Podcast gave some indication that all might not be well at West Ham for the 32-year-old, who has been with the club since August 2015.

Yet Moyes has brushed off any suggestions that he may be about to lose the Jamaican international, telling the media that any speculation is coming from the player directly.

"Micky is someone who has been talking about his future, rather than the club," said the boss during his Friday press conference when asked to share his thoughts on Antonio's comments. "It's not the club talking about Micky Antonio going, it's Micky."

Speaking on the podcast 24 hours earlier, Antonio refused to confirm that his immediate future lay at West Ham, while lending some credence to recent rumours that he is being chased by several other clubs.

"I've not ruled anything out, that's all I going to say," he told fellow host Callum Wilson of Newcastle United. "There are talks and whatever happens, happens. If I stay I stay, if I go, I go. There are definitely talks happening and that's what I'm saying; I can't say anything else.

"I've been here [at West Ham] for eight-and-a-half years now, I've loved every minute of it. It's somewhere close to my heart and I'll always be looking out for them. It's just one of those things, I'm not saying goodbye - I'm saying if it happens, it happens.

"This season's been a very difficult season for me. I won't be upset about staying and I'll definitely be upset if I leave because I've enjoyed my time here, but football's football. I love the fans, I've loved my time at West Ham.

"I'd have never thought I'd have spent eight-and-a-half years at one club, before I came to West Ham the most I spent at West Ham was two years. And I've still got another year-and-half to go.

"For the majority of clubs that've been linked with me, there's been a bit of truth behind it. I'm a wanted man, there's nothing else can I say! But I'm joking - there's been some speculation and it's not all been true. There's always rumours about people going [to other clubs]."
