It looks like being a frustrating end to the winter transfer window for Hammers fans hoping to celebrate a last minute deal or two.
Despite being linked to several potential signings in recent days, David Moyes is yet to add to the signings of Brazilian youngster Luizao and former Aston Villa striker Danny Ings. And with the close of the transfer window just a matter of hours away, Hammers fans are preparing for an evening when they can enjoy an early night.
Last minute, deadline day links have been few and far between; Union Berlin winger Sheraldo Becker was linked with a potential move to east London this morning but that suggestion was quickly rebuffed by the Bundesliga club who insisted the winger would be staying in Germany.
At lunchtime, Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips was touted as a possible loan signing for West Ham although there has been little evidence to suggest that particular rumour is anything more than idle speculation.
Meanwhile another central midfielder, Chelsea's Conor Gallagher has also been suggested as a loan signing in recent days but he is almost certainly set to remain in west London in order to try and secure a first team plkace under Graham Potter.
And the only deal that looks possible at this stage is a move for 17-year-old Cliftonville forward Sean Moore, who began life as a left back before making the transition to a forward where he has been something of a revelation for the Northern Irish club.
