The eight quarter finalists of this season's UEFA Conference League have been confirmed.

West Ham secured their place in the last eight courtesy of a tenth consecutive win in European competition, a comfortable 4-0 defeat of AEK Larnaca.

And the Hammers will be joined by two clubs from Belgium, one from Italy, Poland, Switzerland, Holland and France.

The first club to qualify for the last eight were Gent, who won 4-1 in Istanbul to beat Baseksehir 5-2 on aggregate. They were joined earlier today by Lech Poznan who thrashed Swedish outfit Djurgarden 5-0 over the two legs.

Next through were Serie A outfit Fiorentina, who completed a 5-1 aggregate win over Sivasspor thanks to a 4-1 win in the second leg - followed by Swiss side Basel, who scored a dramatic 93rd minute equaliser to send their game with Slovan Brtislava into extra time before winning 4-1 on penalties after no further goals arrived.

This evening's ties saw two huge shocks, with Lazio going down 2-1 in the Netherlands (and losing 4-2 on aggregate) to tournament dark horses, AZ Alkmaar and competition favourites Villareal losing 1-0 at home to Anderlecht (who won 1-0 on aggregate).

Also joining West Ham in the last eight are Ligue 1 side Nice, who strolled through to the next stage of the competition courtesy of a 3-1 win against Sheriff (Nice winning 4-1 on aggregate).

The draw for the quarter finals and semi finals can be viewed live on KUMBTV at 1pm tomorrow.
