West Ham are set to visit Ligue 1 outfit Rennes for their penultimate pre-season friendly of the summer.David Moyes' side, who complete their 2022/23 programme next week in Prague have provisionally been booked to face the French side at Roazhon Park on Saturday, 29 July according to a KUMB source.
Rennes, the former club of Nayef Aguerd who moved to east London last summer, finished fifth in the French top flight last season earning themselves a place in next season's Europa League competition as a result.
And they are set to host the Hammers on the final weekend of July, just two weeks before the 2023/24 campaign begins on Saturday 12 August.
Prior to taking on Rennes, the Hammers are due to fly to Australia for matches against Perth Glory (Optus Stadium, Saturday 15 July) and Premier League rivals Tottenham (the same venue, Tuesday 18 July).
The French club complete their pre-season programme a week later when hosting another Premier League club, Wolverhampton Wanderers (Saturday August 5th).
