David Moyes has refused to be drawn on comments made by Michail Antonio regarding fellow striker Luca Scamacca's suitability.

West Ham's number 9 was criticised by supporters for claiming that his Italian partner was ill-suited to Moyes' tactical approach, during an appearance on the Filthy Fellas Podcast earlier this week.

And while Moyes understandable expressed his support for the injured Scamacca, he stopped short of criticising Antonio following his latest public faux pas.

"I've got no issues with Gianluca," said the boss, when asked to respond to Antonio's words. "Gianluca is a terrific player, a really good footballer, someone who we really like but unfortunately, he’s been hit with injuries for periods of this season.

"And Micky has his own opinions - but we're not getting into that."

Meanwhile Moyes also dismissed reports linking Celtic with interest in taking him north of the border and back to his former club.

"I have never even considered it," he said. "I am West Ham manager and I am really enjoying my period here. T

"he club have been so good to me and we have enjoyed the journey we are on here. Hopefully we will try to continue growing a really good football club.

"Through my years I have been linked with lots of jobs at different times in my career. But I have to say I am really happy at the moment and settled where I am."

We'll have more for you from Moyes' Friday press conference shortly...
