Lingard returns as Hammers held by Tractor Boys

Jesse Lingard made his West Ham United return in a 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town at Rush Green.
The attacking midfielder, who has spent the last few weeks training with the Hammers as he seeks to earn a permanent contract with the club featured alongside the likes of Angelo Ogbonna, Danny Ings and Aaron Cresswell.And it was the former Ipswich defender who opened the scoring for the Hammers from a set piece, before the visitors grabbed a share of the spoils with a late equaliser.
Lingard, who was released by Nottingham Forest at the end of last season featured for some 75 minutes before being replaced for the final few minutes.
David Moyes is currently weighing up whether or not to offer the 30-year-old a permanent deal.
