Former Under 18s attacking midfielder George Earthy has signed a new three-year contract with West Ham.
Having played a major role in what was one of the Academy's best-ever seasons in 2022/23 - a campaign that culminated in a Premier League 2 and FA Youth Cup double - the 18-year-old admitted he was delighted to have been granted the opportunity to continue his development at Chadwell Heath. And having been promoted to Steve Potts' Under 21s group - along with fellow former Under 18s Kamarai Swyer, Kaelan Casey and Steve's son Freddie - Earthy, can't wait to return the faith shown in him and his fellow double winners by the Academy staff.
"I've been here since I was really young and signing a new contract is something I have been working really hard towards," he told West Ham's website. "I'm buzzing to continue my journey at West Ham.
"It means a lot to play for the team you support and this contract is a massive vote of confidence in myself as a player going forwards. I want to push on now and keep showing everyone what I can do when playing for the Under 21s this season.”
