Paq it in! West Ham braced for mega-money bid

An unnamed Middle East club are reported to have expressed interest in signing West Ham's mercurial miodfielder Lucas Paqueta.
According to journalist Nicolo Schira, the Saudi-based side are preparing to make the Hammers a big money offer for the 26-year-old, who has enjoyed a solid start to the current campaign.Manchester City had been tipped as the club most likely to sign Paqueta, after they make an offer in the region of £85million for the player back in August.
However that bid was withdrawn shortly after it was revealed that West Ham's number 10 was being investigated as part of a betting scandal.
While nothing has yet come of that investigation, Paqueta is yet to be cleared - with the FA requesting to see his mobile phone and associated records only last month.
