West Ham defender Vladimir Coufal has been sent home form the Czech Republic camp.
The dependable right back was dismissed from Jaroslav Šilhavý's squad after he and two others in the squad - Aris central defender Jakub Brabec and Sparta Prague forward Jan Kuchta - admitted they had visited a nightclub ahead of a Euro 2024 qualifier against Moldova."Three players of the national team fundamentally violated the internal rules of the national team on Saturday night," read a statement issued by the Czech FA.
"Jakub Brabec, Vladimír Coufal and Jan Kuchta left the national team meeting with immediate effect by decision of the national team management."
The three players were believed to be celebrating Friday night's 1-1 draw in Poland that left the Republic in with a chance of topping qualifying Group E.
Coufal provided the cross that led to the Republic's second half equaliser, scored by Hammers team mate Tomas Soucek (as you may see in the video below).
