Managers David Moyes and opposite number Thomas Frank spoke to the media following tonight's 4-2 win against Brentford.

The Hammers ended their eight-game run without a win by producing an encouraging performance against The Bees, who played their part in an entertaining, all-London, six-goal affair.

Naturally relieved at seeing his team return to winning ways, and mostly in a fashion that would appeal to most fans seeking a more adventurous approach, Moyes insisted that he and his squad were "desperate to do better", while appealing to unhappy fans to stick with them as they seek to arrest the recent downturn in form.

"I think there is a wee bit of reality that needs to come in and say 'hey, wait a minute'," he said. "The team and the players are doing really well - we've had a bad month or so. But our form, in the main, has been very good."

Meanwhile Brentford boss Frank admitted West Ham's Jarrod Bowen was "unplayable", when he addressed the media in his post-match press conference.

He suggested the defeat was only the third time this season his struggling side, currently just two places above the relegation zone, had performed below their "normal level" - as you can see below.

Finally, were you in the dark as everyone else about Bowen's unusual goal celebration upon completing his first ever Hammers hat-trick? Well wonder no more, as our three-goal hero explains below...
