West Ham United's Alphonse Areola and Emerson Palmieri have both been nominated for monthly Premier League awards.

The French international made February's shortlist as a result of a save from Leandro Trossard in the Hammers' 6-0 thrashing at home to Arsenal.

With the score still at 0-0, Areola - who has already won the award once this season, back in October - tipped the Arsenal forward's volley over the bar to earn a place on the six-man roster.

Featured along side the former PSG stopper for the February award are André Onana (Manchester United), José Sá (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Tottenham's Guglielmo Vicario of Hotspur, Emiliano Martínez (Aston Villa) and Brentford’s current number one Mark Flekken.

You may vote for Areola here - the poll closes at noon on Monday, 4 March.

Meanwhile Italian international Emerson has also recived a monthly nomination, this time for his thunderous strike against Brentford on Monday night, when he scored the last of United's four goals against the Bees.

The defender's first goal of the campaign faces stiff competition for the monthly award, being as he is up against seven fellow contenders - Declan Rice (Arsenal vs West Ham), against the Irons, Jordan Ayew (Crystal Palace), Jefferson Lerma (also Palace), Brighton & Hove Albion's João Pedro, Kobbie Mainoo (Man Utd), Darwin Núñez (Liverpool) and Richarlison of Spurs.
