The Hammers came back from a goal behind at Goodison Park to ensure back-to-back victories in the Premier League.

Goalless at the break, thanks largely to Alphonse Areola's penalty save in added-on time at the end of the first half, the Hammers fell behind 11 minutes after the restart when Beto, who missed the penalty nodded the hosts ahead.

However the Toffees were to remain ahead for less than six minutes, when Kurt Zouma - who'd conceded the penalty and spent a season on loan at Everton - converted James Ward Prowse's corner with a fine header.

Just when the game looked to be heading towards a stalemate, Tomas Soucek - fed by the excellent Mohammed Kudus - fired home what looked like being the winning goal with the outside of his boot, in the first minute of injury time.

However there was still time for a third to follow three minutes later when the Hammers caught Everton on the break; on this occasion, Edson Alvarez lifted his effort over an advancing Jordan Pickford to guarantee all three points for the happy Hammers.

The win lifts West Ham back into seventh spot above Brighton & Hove Albion - who were thumped 3-0 at Fulham - and just two points behind sixth-place Manchester United.
