David Moyes was full of praise for his team's defensive "resilience" in the wake of the 1-1 draw with Tottenham in Stratford.

With the weekend's disastrous second half performance at Newcastle still fresh in the memory, the boss was happy that his team appeared less porous than at St James' Park - even though they conceded after just five minutes.

However the Hammers enjoyed several chances to win the game after captain Kurt Zouma's 19th-minute equaliser - with Moyes insisting his side "looked a threat when they had to be".

"You'd have thought after four minutes, when they scored the goal, 'what's going on here'!?," said Moyes, who also admitted he was happy with the four points earned from Tottenham this season following the win at White Hart Lane earlier in the campaign. "So we had to find a way of getting back from there.

"We did - and we had two or three opportunities [to win it] in the 92nd, 93rd minute when the ball fell to Mo [Kudus} and Paqueta.

"But as long as we can stay hard to play against and hard to beat, I think we'll always have a great chance of scoring. And we were much harder to play against tonight than we were at the weekend."
