Julen Lopetegui and his team are set to make major moves in the transfer market this weekend, with at least THREE new additions to the first team squad set to be announced.

Internationals Crysencio Summerville (Netherlands), Niclas Fullkrüg (Germany) and Guido Rodriguez (World Cup holders Argentina) are preparing to be confirmed as the latest recruits to the new Head Coach's roster, following 72 hours of intense negotiation, spearheaded by West Ham's Head of Recruitment Tim Steidten.

And the trio will add a vast array of experience and considerable talent to Lopetegui's pack (not to mention a spark of excitement to the fanbase, who have been patiently awaiting new arrivals) even if Summerville is the only one of the triumvirate to have previously experienced the frenetic pace and intense scrutiny of the English Premier League.

Rotterdam-born Summerville - a £25million capture from second tier Leeds United, where he was regarded as a talismanic figure - successfully completed the second and final part of his medical on Friday, having begun tests 24 hours earlier.

Having satisfied the club's medics, he is scheduled to be announced as a Hammer ahead of the club's Stateside Cup encounter with Crystal Palace on Saturday night.

Fullkrüg - who only entered the picture as an attainable target on Thursday when current club Borussia Dortmund accepted West Ham's £23million plus £4million add-ons offer - will undergo his medical on Saturday and should that proceed without a hitch, he too is set to be confirmed as a new squad member this weekend.

And finally the biggest surprise of all, 30-year-old Guido Rodríguez who will join Fullkrüg for tests on Saturday after flying in to rubber-stamp his free transfer move, having previously featured for Real Betis whom he left with view to joining Barcelona - a move that fell through in April following a change of manager at Camp Nou.

West Ham are ready to splash the cash having failed to conclude a number of deals to this point, including the likes of Jhon Duran (Aston Villa) and Bayern Munich wing-back Noussair Mazraoui, who is expected to join Manchester United.

Yet there are still likely to be more incomings ahead of the transfer window deadline at the end of the month to boost Lopetegui's options, with potentially even more good news on that front to follow over this weekend.
