An Erling Haaland hat-trick condemned West Ham to back-to-back home Premier League defeats.
The Hammers - who opened the 2024/25 campaign with a home defat against Aton Villa - were simply no match for the City striker, who scored twice before the half time interval and then again in the latter stages of the game to secure all three points for the visitors.Despite this West Ham - whose only goal of the game came in the first half from City defender Rúben Dias - created a number of good chances, including two second half efforts from Mo Kudus and Crysencio Summerville which hit the woodwork.
