Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou says he will be able to call upon the services of key players Heung-min Son and Richarlison for this weekend's big London derby against West Ham.

Both forwards were considered injury doubts ahead of this weekend's north versus east London clash - yet both have been passed as fit to play at White Hart Lane.

“Sonny and Richy have done some good work and trained with the group, which is a real positive for us,” confirmed Postecoglou.

“Sonny was always hopefully going to get through this international break really well and be ready and Richy has done some good work. They can't waiut to get out there and are good to go.”

As for the challenge provided by Julen Lopetegui's side, Postecoglou admits he will be hoping to make amends for last season's 2-1 reversal in the corresponding fixture, with Spurs seeking their first win against West Ham since February 2023.

"It's going to be a challenging game, they've got some fantastic players in their team," he said. "They've got a new manager and they're doing things a little differently.

"We saw in their last game what a threat they can be going forward so it's a good challenge for us, but the emphasis has to be on us reproducing the form we've shown in recent times.

"You just have to look at the positions Lopetegui has held to get a fairly clear idea of how highly he's regarded. You don't become the manager of Spain or Real (Madrid) otherwise.

"Most of the personnel are still there from last year when you look at their line-ups. They're a big side, they're a physical side with real speed on the wings. But when we play well, we can play against most styles or systems, as we've shown."
