He's managed both teams in the past - but Harry Redknapp believes West Ham are in for a rude awakening when they travel to the south coast on Monday evening.

Julen Lopetegui's side returning to winning ways with a narrow victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night in Stratford. However Redknapp - who spent nine years in the managerial dugout at Dean Court before moving to West Ham as Billy Bonds' understudy - believes the Spanish Head Coach's chances of securing back to back wins are unlikely.

"Two of my old sides here, this should be a good one!" he told BetVictor. "Things just keep getting better for Bournemouth, three wins in a row!

"That was certainly dramatic at Ipswich, but Andoni Iraola made some changes, and he got his reward late in the game. Three points here and who knows, they could even start dreaming of a top six finish!

"That was a massive win for Julen Lopetegui on Monday night, but I don’t think it will ease the pressure too much, particularly with the form they’ve shown on the road. It was nice to see the tributes to Michail Antonio, all that matters is that he is on the mend, all the best to him.

"Bournemouth could go nine points clear of West Ham here, that would be amazing for them. And I fancy them to get it, 2-1."

And as for the player to keep an eye on? "Bournemouth are full of players that go under the radar, Evanilson is one of them," added Redknapp. "He was brought in for huge money to replace Dominic Solanke, but he’s been doing a great job in recent weeks and is such a handful up top. "

Bournemouth go into the game six points and, as things stand, six Premier League places above Lopetegui's inconsistent team.
