Graham Potter is preparing to be without a host of first team stars when West Ham host Fulham in Stratford on Tuesday evening.
The former Chelsea and Brighton boss is hoping to secure his first win since succeeding his predecessor Julen Lopetegui last week in this latest London derby. However he will have to do so without a number of key players.Confirming the latest team news ahead of tomorrow's clash, Potter began with his forward line - which was missing Michail Antonio, skipper Jarrod Bowen, Crysencio Summerville and Niclas Fullkrug come full time at Aston Villa last Friday evening.
"It's fair to say it's a significant one [for Niclas Fullkrug]," Potter told the assembled media who had gathered for his latest pre-match presser.
"Anybody that's watching the game, when a player pulls up like that, you know that something fairly serious has happened. So it's still early in terms of full diagnosis I would suggest, but nevertheless a significant one - a number of weeks.
"With Crysencio [Summerville], it's a minor one. [Substituting him at Villa Park] was probably a little bit more than precautionary. He felt something after about 35 minutes and finished his first half, but probably not at 100 per cent.
"We'll see; it's touch and go, but probably erring towards the negative at the moment."
As for the opposite end of the pitch, Potter revealed his concerns have been eased slightly in the last 48 hours or so.
With Konstantinos Mavropanos having reported fully fit for the Fulham fixture, despite having sustained a knock against Villa, Potter's only injury concerns remain with Jean-Clair Todibo - absent on Friday - and Emerson, who was also unavailable last Friday.
"Emerson's made good progress," the Head Coach confirmed. "He's been training today and yesterday. [Jean-Clair] Todibo's just still with the physio. [Konstantinos] Mavropanos, no problem, he’s trained the last two days so that’s good."
