Potter seeking strong finish - starting at Anfield

Graham Potter believes West Ham have improved defensively under his direction - but work continues at the other end of the field.
West Ham have conceded just five goals in their last seven outings as a result of the hard yards done on the training pitches at Rush Green. However Potter's side have only scored six times during that same period, with no win in the last four outings.
And Potter is keen to address his team's shortcomings as they attempt to finish the season as best as possible.
"When you're a Premier League side, with big demands, you understand expectations," he told the assembled media during his Liverpool press conference on Friday morning.
"If you're conceding a lot of goals, you're going to suffer no matter what, so we've worked on improving that. Apart from patches against Brentford and Wolves, we've been really competitive. Things can turn quickly, but we are looking to improve.
"Scorelines affect things, but margins are very tight in this league. We know where we've made progress - particularly in defence - but at the same time we need to attack and play better.
"But that's where the work is. We need to finish off as strong as we can."
However Potter and the Hammers are up against it this weekend as they prepare to tackle champions-in-waiting Liverpool at Anfield. And the Head Coach is under no illusions as to the difficulty facing his squad.
"They've lost their last game but won the previous four in the Premier League," he confirmed. "They've still got work to do, but they're rightly at the top of the league.
"We have to be the best version of ourselves to have a chance. Away at Anfield is as difficult as it gets, so we have to make sure we're ready. If we are, we can be competitive, and hopefully from there, points will follow."
