West Ham United's on-loan youngster George Earthy has been named as Bristol City's Young Player of the Year for season 2024/25.

The 20-year-old midfielder, who is spending the entirety of the campaign on loan at Ashton Gate has made 38 appearances for the Robins, who reached the Championship play-offs having ended the regular 46-game season in sixth place.

And the Hammers youngster has played a major role in Bristol's re-emergence, according to members of City's Supporters' Club.

"Voted for by supporters, George Earthy was named the Supporters Club & Trust’s Young Player of the Year," read a piece on City's website.

"The West Ham loanee has scored three goals this season, including an important brace in City’s 2-1 win over Middlesbrough at home."

The main Player of the Year award went to the ever-present Jason Knight, who also collected the Player's Player of the Year award.

Although he is scheduled to return to West Ham upon the end of City's season, Earthy has been offered the opportunity to spend a second season at Ashton Gate, as exclusively revealed here on KUMB last month.
