West Ham United skipper Jarrod Bowen has been dropped by new England manager Thomas Tuchel from his squad to face Andorra and Senegal.
The Three Lions face the European minnows in a World Cup qualifier on 7 June before facing the Africans in a friendly three days later.And the German coach has dropped a number of former regulars including all players form both Manchester clubs - the first time a senior England squad has not included a player from the red side of the city since 1976.
"I spoke to all of the players who were not on the list to give my direct feedback on my decision," said Tuchel, when asked to explain the omissions, before admitting that he has been disappointed with Bowen's form during the last England camp back in March.
Selected ahead of Bowen - who has scored 12 goals for the Hammers this season and is set to marry the mother of his two children, Dani Dyer, next week - are the likes of Noni Madueke and Ivan Toney, the former Brentford striker who currently plays his football for Al-Ahli in the Saudi Arabian Pro League.
