West Ham United will begin the 2025/26 Premier League campaign with a trip to newly-promoted Sunderland.

Graham Potter's side will face a tricky trip to the north east on 16 August as Régis Le Bris' Championship play-off winners play host.

And that will be followed by a first home game and London derby of the season when Chelsea visit the London Olympic Stadium a week later.

There will be no once-traditional Boxing Day fixture for the Hammers this year, with the visit of Fulham happening on 27 December - a Saturday - instead.

Meanwhile the Hammers end their away campaign with another trip to the north east, this time to face Newcastle United, before another new Premier League team - Leeds United - visit east London for the final game of the season.
