Callum Wilson's added-on time winner has breathed new life into West Ham United's battle against the drop.

A fortnight ago many Hammers fans had convinced themselves that relegation was a certainty, following the home defeat against Nottingham Forest.

And while there is still plenty of work left to do, with 16 Premier League matches left to play the gap between the two teams is now just four points - a position that is far from insurmountable.

West Ham were simply magnificent in the opening period in N17 this afternoon, while Tottenham were extremely fortunate to enter the interval only one goal behind - that coming from Crysencio Summerville, whose deflected effort on the quarter-hour mark left goalkeeper Vicario with no chance.

The second was a different story however as the Hammers struggled to replicate their first half form and it was no surprise when Cristian Romero levelled with a head on 64 minutes.

But with the game drifting towards a draw, wantaway Wilson - who had been on the pitch for less than 90 seconds having replaced the industrious Taty Castellanos - popped up to convert a corner following yet more indecision in the Spurs defence.

Next up for the Hammers is Sunderland nest weekend; we'll have a full match report for you soon...
