The date for West Ham United’s Emirates FA Cup quarter-final against Leeds United has now been confirmed, with the tie scheduled to take place on Sunday, 5 April 2026.
The match is scheduled to kick-off at 4:30pm at the London Stadium. The announcement was made on Friday, as the Football Association released the full schedule for the last-eight fixtures in the competition. Both clubs booked their places in the quarter-finals after impressive performances in the previous round. West Ham secured their spot in dramatic fashion with the penalty shootout victory over Brentford FC after the match finished 2–2 following extra time; the Hammers held their nerve from the spot to win 5–3, sealing their progression to the final eight of the world’s oldest domestic cup competition for the first time in a decade.
Leeds, meanwhile, progressed with a convincing 3–0 victory against Norwich City in the 5th round. That result marked the Yorkshire club’s first appearance in the FA Cup quarter-finals since the 2002/03 season.
The tie will see Leeds travel to east London, with West Ham holding home advantage at the London Olympic Stadium. With a place in the semi-finals at Wembley Stadium on the line, the match promises to be one of the standout fixtures of the quarter-final round.
For West Ham, the cup has offered a welcome boost and respite from what has been a challenging Premier League campaign. Now Nuno Espirito Santo's side will look to take the final step toward Wembley by overcoming Leeds in front of their home supporters.
Opposition Leeds, who also visit the LOS on the final day of the Premier League campaign should arrive full of confidence after their dominant display against the Championship outfit.
Daniel Farke’s side have demonstrated strong form in the competition - which has also seen wins against Birmingham (on penalties) and Derby County in the 3rd round - and will see the trip to the capital as an opportunity to continue their impressive run and reach the FA Cup semi-finals for the first time in decades.
