West Ham hit the post three times, had a goal disallowed and were denied what appeared to be two cast-iron penalties as they went down 3-0 at Brentford.
Nuno Santo's side went into today's game knowing that any points gained at the G-Tech stadium would pile further pressure on their relegation rivals.However it will now be West Ham anxiously watching tomorrow's fixture between Aston Villa and Tottenham after failing to extend their two point advantage over the north Londoners.
