Fernandes nominated for prestigious award

West Ham United midfielder Mateus Fernandes has been included in the shortlist for the prestigious Premier League Young Player of the Season award.

The 21-year-old is one of eight outstanding talents nominated for the annual award, alongside Rayan Cherki, Nico O'Reilly (Man City), Junior Kroupi, Alex Scott (Bournemouth), Lewis Hall (Newcastle Utd), Michael Kayode (Brentford) and Kobbie Mainoo (Man Utd).
